Artist - Becky Enyioma Album - 'Im Aight'
Proposal
Although not well known in the UK, Becky Enyioma is popular in her home country Nigeria having released several successful albums there. Becky has an amazing voice, plays piano and writes her own songs, but needed the help to put her ideas in a finished form. For each song she would either send me a rough version on mp3 of her singing over just a piano, or a just a simple keyboard and drum pattern from which I would contruct a complete backing track. She would then come to my studio and record the lead and backing vocals, and on occasion utilise the superb rapping talents of her brother, who is the king of the 'one take' performance. (highlighted on the song Beep Beep).
Backing Track
I developed the ideas she had sent me, fleshed them out and crafted a totally new track using the elements she provided and adding a whole lot more into the mix.
Finished Song
Becky's incredible vocals finished the tracks off, providing them with a real class.
